What do you like best about town: I love the small-town feeling in Killingworth.  People genuinely care about their community here and are ready and willing to lend a helping hand.

What to you least like about town: I’m not all that fond of the mosquitoes in the summer.

Where do you work: I have worked in the Compliance Department at Morgan Stanley, now Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, since 1992.

What is your favorite:

Place to eat?

My favorite food stop for the past year has been Cozy Corner Bake Shoppe on Route 81.

Place to go shopping?

My favorite place to shop?  My wife won’t let me go shopping, anymore.  She says that I tend to play too much in the aisles.

Place to visit?

My favorite place to visit (and it is will come as no surprise to anyone who has ever met me) is Walt Disney World.  I am continually inspired by Walt Disney’s famous statement, “If you can dream it, you can do it”.

Fondest memory of town:

My fondest memory of Killingworth, thus far, is coaching my daughter’s softball team last season and watching as each girl grew in her skills and in confidence.

A recent accomplishment:

A recent accomplishment of which I am extremely proud is that, on December 12, I celebrated my 25th anniversary as a cancer survivor.  Every day is a gift.   I am determined to pay back, in any way I can, the care and support I received that made the past 25 years possible.    As part of that paying back, I participate in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Haddam-Killingworth, which will take place on May 14-15 at Haddam-Killingworth High School.  For more information, please see our website www.relayforlife.org/hkct
