Local Boy Scout creates new trail at Parmelee Farm just in time for Sunday's 1st Annual Tree Lighting.

From Killingworthtoday.com's Facebook page:

Eagle Scout candidate Ethan Drain installed a proper trail entrance to Parmelee Farm from the Middle School parking lot today. The Parmelee Farm steering committee thanks Ethan for his wonderful work. The entrance will be available for those attending the Tree Lighting, Sunday at 4:30. Park at the school and enjoy the short walk to the farm.

The 1st Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at Parmelee Farm today from 4:30-6 p.m.

Joint efforts by the Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Killingworth Women’s Organization, Historical Society, and Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will ensure a wonderful time to be had by all. Join the Carolers and sip hot chocolate as the tree, donated by Winterberry Farm with lights donated by the Gorski family, is illuminated in holiday splendor. Parking will be available at the Middle School. The trail will be marked. Be sure to bring a flashlight for the return trip to your car.
