Prepping for Fair Season: Gluten-Free Apple Pie

I'm so excited! Durham Fair weekend is quickly approaching, and this year I'm going wild and submitting a gluten-free apple pie for the baking competition. Could something so outrageous win the coveted Grand Prize??? 

Read on for my first attempt. It's pretty good, but I'm worried it's not Grand Prize worthy yet. If you try it out, let me know what you think.
