Bubba and Webb on the Links in Cromwell

Only in Cromwell can you meet so many great golfers and celebrities.

Over the last 20 years it has been a tradition of mine (and usually with my dad) to go to the Travelers (as it is now) Celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament.

As much as I enjoy watching the pros play golf, it's been just as much fun getting to see the different celebriities that play.

Over the years I've met Joe Pesci and Sandy Koufax, among other celebrities. I've also run into pro golfers like Phil Mickelson and this year's Master Champion, Bubba Watson.

Can't forget U.S. Open Champion Webb Simpson.

The Travelers Golf Championship is and has been a fun event for the whole family for many years and hopefully for years to come.
