The Racing Fun Continues

Getting ready for Monday's race in Durham.

As the summer months draw closer (hopefully soon), the weather starts to improve, many people go for long walks or runs. Over the past three years, I've become more involved in physical fitness. I participate in road races.

If you know me, or have read my story you know that I do this in a wheelchair. I really enjoy it. In three years, I've competed in 12 races.

I'm getting ready for one of my favorite races, this coming Monday (Memorial Day) at Coginchaug High School, the 2012 Washington Trail Road Race.

Two weeks later, I'll compete in a three mile race at the TPC golf course in Cromwell on June 9. I'm scaling back a little bit this year though, in hopes of entering the Hartford ING 1/2 marathon in October.
