"The Golf Center at Lyman Orchards was designed to grow the game of golf. We have set our programs up to be very attractive to new golfers, in particular women," says Kevin Cloud, Director of Instruction at Lyman. "The facility is a low stress, high fun facility that really removes the pressure of golf for new golfers and allows new golfers to learn, practice, and play the game of golf."
PGA Junior League Team
Opportunity to play the Jones Course at Lyman Orchards, TPC River Highlands, Farmington Woods. Team event, scramble format. Open to junior golfers aged 13 and under as of July 31st. Cost is $200 and includes greens fees, uniforms, golf balls. Matches held on Sunday afternoons from June 23rd - July 21st. Opportunity for advancement on an all-star team with regional and national matches.
"The players on our Junior League team will have the opportunity to play competitive golf on a team. This generally does not happen until high school," says Cloud.
"They can work on their golf game and be partnered with other golfers in a fun 2 person scramble format. The team will play their matches on our Robert Trent Jones course, TPC River Highlands, Farmington Woods, and Fairview Farms.
