"Putting the Garden to Bed" with Guest Lecturer from Acer Gardens

Bill Harris of Acer Gardens, Deep River, will present a lecture at the Killingworth Library on “Putting the Garden to Bed,” at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19.

The discussion, cosponsored by the Killingworth Library Association and the Killingworth Evergreen Garden Club, will cover such topics as dividing plants, dormant insects, fertilizing, pruning, lawn care, collecting seeds, and much more. Harris plans to speak for about 30 to 40 minutes, with a Q&A to follow.

Harris has a degree in agronomy and soil science and has operated Acer Gardens since 1983.
