Coginchaug Soccer Club Offers Scholarships

The Coginchaug Soccer Club (CSC) will award, at its discretion, up to four merit scholarships totaling up to $2,000. The scholarships will be awarded to at least one eligible male and female applicant.

Eligibility
1. High school seniors planning to attend a school of higher education.
2. Must have had a C+ average (GPA 2.5) or better in high school (to be verified by the applicant’s school).
3. Current or former member of the Coginchaug Soccer Club (The student must be or have been a member of the Club for at least two years and considered in good standing. Student may be or have been a player, referee or coach).

Requirements/Criteria Application requirements and the criteria that candidates/applicants will be selected against are as follows:

• All candidates in addition to meeting eligibility criteria must submit an application (link to form below) and a 300 word (maximum) essay on “My commitment to the game of soccer and the Coginchaug Soccer Club”. 

• Scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:

• Demonstrated commitment to soccer, sportsmanship and team play.
• Demonstrated commitment to the Coginchaug Soccer Club.
• Quality of the submitted essay.
