Crafting the school budget for the new school year is an endeavor that takes many months and many meetings to pull together. Have you ever wondered how the budget process works? The RSD17 BOE vote on the budget will take place on May 7 at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium to adopt the proposed regional 2012-2013 school year budget of $38,894,732.84. The public referendum vote is scheduled for May 8 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the local town voting machine locations in Haddam and Killingworth.
Copies of the budget are availabe at the Superintendent's office as well as at the Haddam and Killingworth town clerks' offices.
