Coginchaug senior Audrey Biesak took a pass from teammate Sam Mancinelli and hit a jumpshot with just over three minutes to go in the third quarter against North Branford Tuesday night to reach a milestone only six others have accomplished in a Blue Devils uniform - 1,000 points.
Biesak, who finished with 18 points to lead Coginchaug to a 68-21 win over the Thunderbirds at home, joined her brother Matt "Bucky" Biesak in the Coginchaug 1,000 Point Club.
Biesak added five assists, five rebounds and five steals as the Blue Devils remained unbeaten on the season (4-0).
