Chocolate Fundraiser for Haddam Congregational Church Mission Trip

Love chocolate? Who doesn’t!  Gather up your friends and head over to the First Congregational Church of Haddam on February 11 for a program on making chocolate truffles.  Presenter Maria Brandriff will share some basic information about various types of chocolate and will demonstrate how to make several delicious types of truffles, perfect for Valentine’s Day.  Samples and recipes will be provided.  Following the program enjoy a lunch of homemade soups, breads and hot fudge brownie sundaes along with locally roasted coffee from Zen Roasters.  No time to make your own truffles?  Handmade truffles and Zen Roasters' coffee will be available for purchase.  Admission for the program and lunch is $20 prepaid, $22 at the door.  Space is limited, so please call or email the church at 860-345-2742 or FCC-Haddam@att.net to register.  Payment can be dropped off or mailed to church at 905 Saybrook Rd, Haddam, 06438.  Proceeds will go to support the church’s April service trip to the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica.
