Daily Five: District 13 Bus Routes Now Available Online

3. Just Getting Started This is a busy week for new high school students as well as kindergarten students. Kindergarten bus ride orientation will take place Wednesday, Aug. 22 for Lyman Elementary School students and Thursday, Aug. 23 for Brewster Elementary School students. Both sessions are scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Freshman orientation at Coginchaug High School is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23.

4. Dog Missing in Nearby Northford Christine Bachman of Northford posted over the weekend about her missing dog. Have you seen her?

5. Women of the Woods Join Women of the Woods for a hike at Chatfield Hollow State Park in Killingworth. The hike, which begins at 9 a.m. includes exploring small caves and hopefully finding a letterbox. The distance will depend on the weather and attendance.
