Durham Annual Town Budget Meeting Will Be May 12, 2014

Residents who attend will be able to vote for or against the municipal budget.

Mark your calendars. We've got a date for the next budget meeting.

Durham residents voted Monday evening to set the annual town budget meeting for May 12, 2014.

This is where residents will be able to vote for or against the annual municipal budget, for the 2014-15 fiscal year, and ask questions of the local elected officials.

This is different from the Region 13 school budget, which is enacted only after residents of both Durham and Middlefield approve it in a two-town referendum.

Residents approved last May a 2013-14 budget to the tune of $4.6 million. The $36.6 million education budget was also approved at referendum.
