Father facing charges after police say his marijuana cigarette was found by daycare provider.

A Killingworth father is facing charges after police say he dropped a marijuana cigarette into his 18-month old son's lunch, according to reports.

According to NBC30, John Sulzbach, 33, was arrested Thursday after daycare providers in Clinton found the pot in a food container.

Sulzbach faces a misdemeanor drug charge, but was also charged with risk of injury to a minor, a felony.

The New Haven Register reports the child remains in Sulzbach's custody.

Sulzbach was released on a promise to appear. He's due in court on Dec. 22.

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
