Police Blotter: Sept. 25 - Oct. 26

The following information was provided by Connecticut State Police and local police departments.

 

Tuesday, Sept. 25

State Police are investigating a reported larceny from a storage shed at 1 Burt Drive, Middlefield. According to police, the shed was broken into between 8 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. A report says a lock on the shed was cut off to gain access. The items stolen from the shed include a Husqvarna chainsaw and a Poulan Pro leaf blower.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

Guiseppe Caturano, 66, of unknown address, was arrested at Mohegan Sun on an active arrest warrant charging him with criminal violation of a protective order and second degree harassment. According to police, Caturano's victim lives in Durham. Caturano is due back in court Nov. 16.

Wednesday, Oct. 24

A Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by Colton J. Gray, 16, of Durham struck a tree on the side of Parmelee Hill Road. Gray was not injured but the vehicle was towed due to damage. Gray was issued a verbal warning for traveling too fast for conditions.

Friday, Oct. 26

State Police were called to a disturbance on Meriden Road in Middlefield involving a juvenile. No other details were provided and the incident remains under investigation.
