Main Street Gift Shop Targeted by Thieves

Outdoor table and chairs were stolen from Wild Wisteria in Durham this week.

Wild Wisteria owner Tammy Rajcula came to work on Wednesday and noticed something was missing.

A black, wrought iron table and two chairs located in the front of the floral and gift shop at 354 Main Street in Durham, had vanished.

"It had been here for three years since I've been in business and all of a sudden someone took it," said Rajcula Saturday while opening the store.

Rajcula told police the table and chairs are worth about $300. She believes the outdoor furniture was stolen sometime between Sunday, July 31 and Wednesday, August 3.

State police are investigating the theft.
