Local Man Wanted for Prescription Drug Fraud Arrested
Police say Jared Y. Coggins of Middlefield turned himself in earlier this week.
A Middlefield man wanted on multiple drug charges turned himself into police earlier this week.
Jared Y. Coggins, 22, of 13 Greenview Lane, was arrested by Middletown Police on Aug. 13 and faces nine counts of illegally obtaining prescription drugs and two counts of attempt to commit fraud.

Court records show Coggins was originally arrested in September and October of 2011. All of the charges he faces are misdemeanors.
Coggins was released on a promise to appear. He's due back in court next month.
