Durham-Middlefield Police Blotter: June 8-18

The following information was provided by Connecticut State Police and local police departments.

June 8

Jason Iannotti, 21, of Esther Drive, Middlefield, was involved in a car accident at Butternut and West streets in Middletown and admitted operating his car without insurance, according to police. He was cited for insurance coverage fails minimum.

June 13

Louie J. Wescott, 29, of Edgewood Court, Middlefield, was driving a Nissan Maxima on South Main Street in Middletown without a front license plate and the rear one belonging on a Honda Civic, according to police. He told police he bought the car four days before and borrowed the plate from a friend. He was cited for improper use of marker plate.

June 17

State police are investigating the report of a stolen motor vehicle from Middlesex Auto Center, 29 Meriden Road in Rockfall. According to a report, police were dispatched to the business at 10:57 a.m. and informed that a black, 2-door 1995 Jeep Wrangler with a hard top had been stolen from the parking lot between 8 p.m. on June 16 and 8 a.m. on June 17.

June 18

Taryn Pavlisko, 24, of 180 Preston Ave., Meriden, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a license and given a verbal warning for failure to maintain lane. According to a police report, Pavlisko was traveling east along Route 66 at approximately 6:15 a.m. when she lost control, spun and struck a fence along the highway. The weather was sunny and clear at the time of the accident, the report says. Pavlisko was not injured.
