Durham Resident State Trooper's Report

Public safety stats for October 2012

 

The following information was provided by First Selectman Laura Francis at the Board of Selectmen meeting on Monday, November 19.

413 - calls for service

9 - criminal investigations

23 - motor vehicle accidents (6 with injuries)

15 - motor vehicle infractions

11 - warnings issued

Following a lengthy investigation by the Drug Enforcement Agency and the State Police Narcotics Task Force two people were arrested and charged with selling Oxycontin. State Police were not able to provide any further details about the investigation when asked to comment on Tuesday. Police investigated three domestic incidents.

Traffic enforcement was conducted on the following roads:

Route 17 (near Strong School)

Creamery Road (near Cedar Street) 

Route 68 (near Greenbacker Farm)

David Road
