Durham, Killingworth Police Warn Residents to be Vigilant

State police are investigating a home burglary in Killingworth, following several motor vehicle break-ins in Durham.

Cash and jewelry were stolen from a home near Killingworth's library along Route 81 on Nov. 11. The intruder forced their way into the home through a window, police said. No arrests have been made.

State police are also investigating car break-ins along Maiden Lane and Johnson Lane. Police did not say what was stolen, but reminded residents to lock their car doors and avoid keeping valuable personal items inside vehicles.
