Mountain Lion Sighting in Durham

This mountain lion was spotted behind our house on Skeet Club Rd. Be careful letting your pets out.

I saw a Bobcat next to the Durham fairgrounds where we walk the d0gs one morning, along the river. Pretty big fella. Must have been around October or November.

I saw a Mt. Lion (not a bobcat walk right across my front yard in Oct 2012!!! I got a VERY good look at it but no picture. I think I was mesmorized! ! I'm not the only one who's seen it. Looks pretty much like a smaller African lion!!! I was living along the East Hampton\East Haddam line then.

My husband saw a mountain lion near the corner of Pent and TriMountain Road back in January.

Again, a "Bobcat" has a bobbed tail around 6 inches. A mountain lion would have a tail about a foot shorter than its body. Around 4.5-5 foot long body and 3 foot tail. That animal is not a mountain lion. Does anyone know if the tracks were photographed?
