Letter: Middlefield's Jon Brayshaw is an 'Exemplary Role Model'

Jon Brayshaw – Exemplary Role Model

When comparing candidate selections, one of the qualities that really stands out to me is the exemplary role model that Jon Brayshaw has been while leading the Town.

Through stressful times he has remained positive, strong and stayed on course with respect for the wishes of the voters. Despite political challenges and some heartache, he continues to display great integrity and has the ability to see and share the positive in all.

His leadership in addition to that of Selectman, Ed Bailey has brought a broad range of professional knowledge, experience and insight that has proven to be essential in avoiding unwanted circumstances that could have resulted in extraordinary expenses, unforeseen by others.

They have carefully weighed options, have not been too proud to listen to others and have creatively delivered the best of both worlds to the townspeople by saving taxpayers money, increasing tax revenue to the Town, creating job opportunities and recreation while at the same time preserving Middlefield’s cultural history.

Their exemplary display of leadership has earned my vote.
