Update: Winter Storm Freyr to Dump 3-5 Inches of Snow on Durham, Middlefield

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 8 a.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday.

 

If you have Saturday plans make sure you bring a shovel.

Forecasters are predicting between 3-5 inches of snow in Durham and Middlefield, and the possibility of more. The storm will arrive mid-morning and snowfall should be heaviest between noon and 5 p.m. and will continue through midnight.

Saturday's storm will begin the start of a wintry weather pattern, including blustery wind on Sunday and single digit temperatures arriving overnight Tuesday.
