Pumpkins Wanted in Middlefield

Bring your jack-o'-lantern to Peckham Park on Sunday for the 2nd Annual Light Up Middlefield.

Carve a pumpkin. Wear a costume. Bake a pie.

If you're looking to get into the Halloween spirit don't miss the 2nd Annual Light-Up Middlefield on Sunday at Peckham Park.

The event takes place from 4 to 8 p.m.

Light-Up Middlefied is sponsored by the Middlefield Lions Club and Middlefield Park and Recreation and features plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Pumpkin Pie Baking Contest
Sign-in 4-5:30 p.m.
Judging starts at 5:45 p.m.

Pumpkin Carving Contest
Bring a carved pumpkin to register before 5:45 p.m.*
Pumpkins will be lit and judging will start at 6 p.m.
(Awards will be given out in the following four categories: Scariest, Cutest, Most Creative and Best Theme)

Costume Contest
 Judging between 6 and 6:30 p.m.
Awards will be given out in the following four categories: Scariest, Cutest, Most Creative and Best Theme

Food and refreshments will be available at the pavilion.

  • Graveyard Candy Hunt
  • Bonfire
  • Mummy Wrap
  • Balloon Pop
  • Hula Contest
  • Limbo
  • Moon Bounce
  • Face painting
  • Piñata
  • Roast marshmallows at smore’s stations

*There is no limit to the number of pumkins you can register in the pumpkin carving contest.
