2. Schools are Closed Today In case you needed a reminder, schools are CLOSED today for the election.

3. Got a Prediction? There are 5,116 registered voters in Durham and 3,273 registered voters in Middlefield. If you had to guess, how many registered voters in each town will actually make the effort today to cast a ballot (including absentee ballots)?

4. Have You Met Durham's New Postmaster Yet? Jamie Giovannini, the town's new postmaster has been on the job for a little over a week, but recently told the Middletown Press she feels right at home.

5. Save the Date: Free Flu Clinic On Tuesday, Nov. 20, a free flu clinic will be held at the Durham Activity Center at 350 Main Street (2nd floor) from 12-8 p.m.
