Durham's Top Dog: Duncan

"He cheers me up with kisses when I don't feel well."

Brenna Zettergren's dog Duncan has been named "Top Dog in Durham" for 2011.

The following was submitted to the Town Clerk:

“I think my dog, Duncan, is the top dog in Durham. He cheers me up with kisses when I don't feel well.  He sleeps by my side and loves the hugs I give him all day long.  He even plays dress up with me! I just adopted him this winter but it's clear he is "my boy" as I like to call him.  Mommy says that Duncan is the best thing that happened to us in a long time.  He is eighty-five pounds of love and is top dog in my eyes.”  Brenna’s mom says, “Duncan plays an essential part in Brenna's chemotherapy treatment with his unconditional love and patience.”
