"I value intellectual discussion, which I am able to participate in as a member of my school’s debate team. Most importantly, though, I’m proud to say I am a student of truth. I enjoy asking questions and examining fundamental reasons for why things are, why people believe them. I enjoy finding answers. There is a certain indescribable satisfaction in understanding something more deeply," said Wu, who plans to study philosophy and political science in college.
