Many events scheduled for this weekend have been rescheduled, postponed or even canceled due to the ongoing recovery efforts from last weekend's storm.

Day of the Dead
Marilyn Horn's presentation on "" is rescheduled for Thursday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. (at the Durham Activity Center)

CERT Training Class
Steve Levy has announced that the CERT training classes for this weekend will be cancelled and rescheduled for next weekend, Nov. 11th & 12th.

Pumpkin Run
HK Youth and Family Services is proud to host our 18th Annual 5k Pumpkin Run/Walk & Kid’s Fun Run on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 11:30 am. The event offers fun for the whole family with contests, face painting, Halloween crafts, Kids Fun Run and more. This is one of Haddam’s and Killingworth’s most attended events and is looked forward to by all.

Halloween Party/Parade
This event will be held this Sunday November 6th at the Durham activity Center at 1:00. For ages 1-13. Please join the Durham Recreation Committee for some fun. Bring your decorated pumpkin and receive a ribbon. 860-343-6724

Notre Dame Christmas Bazaar
Due to the recent snowstorm, the Church of Notre Dame (272 Main St,
Durham) has postponed its Christmas Bazaar. Please join us on December 3, 2011 from 9 am to 6 pm and on December 4, 2011 from 9 am to 12:30
pm. There will be crafts, baked goods, a white elephant sale, and more.

CVEF Spelling Bee
Orginally scheduled for Friday, Nov. 4, organizers have postponed the event. We don't have a date, yet, but the event will probably be rescheduled for January or February of 2012.

CRHS Band Craft Fair
Postponed until Sunday, Nov.13th, 11:00am - 4:00pm
Come to Coginchaug for a wonderful holiday shopping experience! A variety of hand crafted items at affordable prices, a baked good sale to support our student music programs, and a stop at the cafeteria for thirsty and hungry shoppers will make the day definitely worth your time.

Durham Fair Truck Pull
This event is canceled.

POPS Clothing Drive
This event has been extended and we will be accepting clothes in the Strong School Parking Lot this Sat Nov 5th 12-2pm.
