1st Annual Tree Lighting at Parmelee Farm

Kick off the Holiday Season with an old tradition brought back to life in Killingworth.

Sunday, December 4th – 4:30-6:00pm.

Joint efforts by the Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Killingworth Women’s Organization, Historical Society, and Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will ensure a wonderful time to be had by all.   Join the Carolers and sip hot chocolate as the tree, donated by Winterberry farm with lights donated by the Gorski family, is illuminated in holiday splendor.   Parking will be available at the Middle School.  The trail will be marked. Be sure to bring a flashlight for the return trip to your car.

We hope to see you there!

As a member of the 1st Annual Tree Lighting Committee, it’s my hope that many Killingworth residents will join in on the fun of singing Christmas Carols, sipping hot Coco and cider while we light the Christmas tree. This will be the first time it will be held at Parmelee Farm, and it’s our hope that it will be a Killingworth tradition that takes place every year for years to come. Please join us for this fun community event.
