Durham Public Library Children's Librarian Christine Michaud (right) and Young Adult Librarian Karyn Gardiner (left) were recently presented with the Friends of Education Award. This honor recognizes people & organizations who have made outstanding contributions to public education in Regional District 13, and who are not employees of the District. Vicki Berry and Pam Wooding, Children's Librarians at the Levi Coe Library in Middlefield, also received the Friends of Education Award.
