After the Fair – Hop on Over to the Durham Public Library!

Stories, songs, and activities for children from 18 months to 5 years.

The Durham Public Library will present four series of storytime programs for young children this fall. All programs include stories, songs, and activities.

Mother Goose Storytime will be held on Mondays at 10:15 a.m. from Oct. 1 – Nov. 19. This program is open to children ages 18 to 30 months. This program features simple stories and fingerplays for toddlers and their parents or caregivers.


Bedtime Storytime  will be held on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. from Oct. 1 – Nov. 19. This program is open to children from 2 to 4 years and will feature bedtime stories, gentle music, and sing-along time. Wear your PJs!

Time for Tots will be held on Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m. from Oct. 3 – Nov. 21. This program is for children aged 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years and features stories, songs and simple craft activities.

Preschool Storytime has two sessions -- Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. from Oct. 2 – Nov. 20. This program is for children aged 3 1/2 to 5 years and will include tories, songs, and craft activities.

Spaces are available for all sessions. Please call the Durham Public Library at (860) 349-9544 to register.
