Put the Durham Fair Farm Museum On Your To-Do List

A visit to the Durham Fair includes entrance to a state of the art museum, where one will find an immaculate well displayed history of Connecticut's farming and rural past.

Horse drawn buggies and wagons, a black smith shop, early mike cans, cream separators, glass milk bottles from Connecticut dairies.  An old time kitchen accompanied by utensils used way back when.  It includes a wood burning kitchen stove for both cooking and backing.

There's incubators to hatch chickens, corn planters and corn huskers, harrows, plows, hayrakes and of course tractors  We have John Deere, Farmall, Ford and more, all sizes, all ages.

Early motorized vehicles including a well drilling rig.  Many of these vehicles are up and running.

Reminiscing with visitors is welcome.  So, please ask "what is it?  what does it do?"  The Farm staff will share all they know about whatever you ask.  Photos and histories of Durham Farms are also on display.

Go to our faceboook page  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Durham-Fair-Association/  and guess how many milk bottles we have and win a pair of tickets to the Fair.
