Biggest Loser Pro participants don’t just change their own lives; they inspire other around them to get healthy. Eating healthy and being active is a choice. Reclaim your life and make the right choices at he grocery store and when dining out.

Scary Health Care Stats:

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 70% of the money we spend on healthy care in America is associated with preventable conditions such as chronic heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes.  The common denominator among all these diseases? Obesity.

Two-thirds of Americans are considered obese, and 80% of the country’s total health care expenditures are tied to only 20% of the people.  For example 18.2 million Americans have diabetes.  It’s estimated there are another 5.5 million who are undiagnosed.  And more than 40 million Americans are prediabetic and high risk for developing the disease.  Once diagnosed, treatment for diabetes cost an estimated $10,000 per patient per year.

Ask yourself these questions to start getting a better picture of your health:

 1. Are you more than 10 pounds overweight?
 2. Do you frequently miss your annual checkup?
 3. Do you exercise less than 30 minutes per day, four or five times per week?
 4. Are you unaware of your blood pressure and cholesterol numbers?
 5. Are you interested in a healthier lifestyle but looking for a place to start?
