Dr. Seuss' magical stories will come to life this weekend as the first annual Youth Summer Stock Musical Theater Camp performs "Seussical, Jr."
The camp is sponsored by the Durham Middlefield Youth and Family Services and was launched with the help of director Heather Kannam.
The opening show will be held on Friday, July 19 at 7 p.m. at the Middlefield Children's Center auditorium. There are performances at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.
Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 for adults and $5 for children. Proceeds will benefit DMYFS programs and activities.
