Girl Scout 100th Jubilee

Girl Scouts throughout Connecticut will be celebrating 100 years in style at the Girl Scout 100th Jubilee at the Durham Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 19, from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The Jubilee features a variety of events for the whole family to enjoy, such as climbing walls and obstacle courses, interactive displays, face painting, singing, touch-a-truck area, and much more! Tickets are $25 and parking is free.

Guest performances include singer and songwriter Nicole Frechette from southern Connecticut, Magician Peter Boie, country singer and former Connecticut Girl Scout Veronica Ballestrini, and “edutainers” Steve Elci & Friends.

At 11:00 a.m., an official opening ceremony will be held featuring Girl Scouts of Connecticut CEO Jennifer Smith Turner, GSOFCT Board President Teresa C. Younger, and Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s official spokesperson for the 100th Anniversary. For more information, visit www.gsofct.org.
