Boy Scouts' Bean Supper Tonight at United Churches

Boy Scout Troop 270 will host their first bean supper of the summer tonight at United Churches of Durham's Fellowship Hall, 228 Main Street.

Meals will be served starting at 6 p.m. and include baked beans, macaroni and cheese, macaroni and beef, baked corn, green bean casserole, coleslaw, tossed salad, and pies. 

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $8 (individuals) or $28 for families (up to 6).

The Boy Scouts have taken over this effort from the Women's Society of Christian Service and hope to carry on the tradition of serving the community.

Proceeds will benefit Troop 270 which provides Boy Scout programs and activities to their scouts from Durham and Middlefield.
