MidState Medical Center holds three free skin cancer screenings in May

MidState Medical Center will hold its annual skin cancer screenings again this May. The three dates for 2014 are:

  • Tuesday, May 6: 6:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
  • Monday, May 19: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 22: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

 

The screenings will be held right at MidState Medical Center on 435 Lewis Avenue in The Cancer Center’s radiation therapy office. Skin cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the United States. It is highly treatable if found early, making early detection extremely important.
