Update: Police Investigate Vandalism at Lyman Orchards' New Golf Course

Someone riding a four-wheeler caused damage to a green and a fairway, police said.

 

Police are investigating vandalism to Lyman Orchards' new golf course.

A green and a fairway were damaged by someone riding a four-wheeler on the Apple Nine Course earlier this week, according to Sgt. Sal Calvo.

The damage — estimated to be between $5,000 to $6,000 — was discovered Wednesday morning and is being repaired.

Lyman Orchards will hold Saturday and the damage will not have an impact on the event, said John Lyman III.

"We're ready to go," he said.

No arrests have been made, police said.
