This information was provided by Durham-Middlefield Patch Editor Michael Hayes, who is on the scene of the incident.

The TD Bank branch in Durham was reportedly robbed sometime after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

Several State Police cars were on scene and troopers were seen inside the bank at 331 Main St. State Police Sgt. Sal Calvo confirmed that the bank was robbed.

Officers were canvassing the area around 10 a.m. and K-9 dogs were on scene as well. The parking lot to the bank has been cordoned off.

Coginchaug High School is now officially in lockdown. Even though students are not in school due to being on vacation, some sports teams are practicing at the school.

This bank has been robbed in the past. Last November, a woman wearing a wig hit this bank along with two others in the area.
