State police are investigating a head-on crash along Route 66 in Middlefield last week.
The crash happened just before midnight on Friday, May 17, according to a police accident report.
Police say Daleth Dube, 24, of Wallingford was traveling eastbound in a 2005 Nissan Altima when she crossed over the yellow line and struck a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer driven by Nicholas Norton, 23, of Meriden, head on.
Dube and Norton were taken to local hospitals with ankle injuries, according to police.
Both vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage, the report says.
