Good Citizens Awards

At 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers (City Hall, Middletown), Wadsworth Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will award its “Good Citizen Award.” Given as part of DAR's commitment to education of our youth, the Good Citizen Award recognizes high school seniors who exemplify the qualities of a good citizen: dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. The recipients are chosen by their schools because they best demonstrate these qualities in their homes, schools, and communities.

This year’s honorees include Amanda Balch, Vinal Regional Technical High School; Daniel Drabinski, Xavier High School; Kaitlyn Thomesen, Cromwell High School; Nicole Tomassetti, Mercy High School; Lauren Trombetta, Coginchaug Regional High School; and David Westby, Middletown High School.
