The State of CT is going to draw down the lake to rebuild the Dam, so why are we so concerned aboutRead More treating the water now?. It would seem best to clear most of the weeds mechanically or by hand when the water in at it's lowest level and then treat it with aquatic herbicide.

This is out of control, whats next a toliet flushing fee?? Well they have to get there $$ somehow,Read More after all our economy is BROKE! We have more fees, more taxes, and have to get more permits these days than ever before. Just what do they do with all there $$ they collect from us? Isnt it time we start to hold our representitives accountable for there spending? Its just a matter of time before our economic system is all done, but until then they will continue to get from us whatever money we allow them to take...

I am so proud of my colleagues and my students for putting together a spectacular show. TheRead More enthusiasm of the Directors and the performers was contagious throughout the entire process, from auditions to rehearsals and set design. An extra special thank you goes out to Tim, Erica and Mr. Brough for keeping the focus on the students - the kids owned every component of the play, down to the set design and prop-making. It is also worth mentioning that ticket sales were by donation only, and every penny collected will go the the James LeClerc Children's Scholarship Fund. Jamie was a teacher at Memorial who had leukemia and passed away several years ago. It is a privilege for me to work with such an incredibly generous group of adults and students. Well done, Memorial!

I am way jealous. I am shooting for 60 to check out as I do not live to work. Too many places toRead More see and fish to catch. My in-laws are my drive and mentors, checked out early and are enjoying life hard after living simple for years. He will the most toys wins and getting them young will not help win the race.

The growth of middlefield's tourism has been great to watch and will continue with the reopening ofRead More Powder Ridge. The Lymans have done a fantasic job even through this difficult time and have continued to not only bring class attractions but also giving back to the community with genorous donations to various organizations. Indian Springs even has a new place to eat and is doing well. I have been going to the apple nine with my son and the staff is outstanding, respectful, and the resources are tremendous. Great job John.

I love my country, and its christian, constitutional priciples it was founded on, by men of GREATRead More wisdom. It sadens me so deeply to see whats happening to our country now!! But we all are responsible, and share blame . We have all gone away from Gods commandments, and live our lives doing whatever we want, doing whatever makes us feel good, and thats not what God has planned for us. Until we turn back too him, its gonna get rougher, and rougher...
