The answer to your query resides somewhere between "Authorities say the…Read More investigation remains ongoing and that further arrests or charges may be forthcoming" and Superior Court on May 14, 2013.
Our home was one of those robbed. The resident Durham and surrounding town's State Police and other regional police agencies have acted brilliantly in this case.
This case has had and continues to have numerous moving parts and I ask you not only to bear with but to salute the work done here to date.
I doubt we will ever recover a single item stolen and neither our home insurance nor tax filings will compensate.
I've been asked to file with the Court what restitution we seek. These well dangerous people have I reckon zilch in reserve and could never recompense by prison labor their many victims. While I will give them a figure, the real restitution is learning all of them will be going away for the absolute longest possible time and they will, for many years and hopefully beyond that no longer pose a threat to you and to others.

Brigid April 29, 2013 at 08:36 pm
Thank you Rob. I've felt this way for years. We have a huge incarceration problem in this country.…Read More Young drug addicts go in and come out hardened criminals. Marijuana, which is no more dangerous that ancohol, should be legalized and taxed. Tax money should go to drug education. It is this approach that worked for cigarettes. They remain perfectly legal but due to education the number of smokers is way down.
