If the cops made a deal in order to put these three crazies in a cage, that's ok with me. By theirRead More mug shots they look like they would kill an innocent homeowner if the situation took a bad turn. Thanks troopers. Now it's the judge's turn to keep them in prison for a long, long time.
Kimberly Davis April 29, 2013 at 11:50 am

We are hearing about the arrests of all these low life burglars; I hope Patch reports theirRead More sentencing results. It would be a scary thing if the judge slapped them on the wrist and turned them free.

Ex Republican: The answer to your query resides somewhere between "Authorities say theRead More investigation remains ongoing and that further arrests or charges may be forthcoming" and Superior Court on May 14, 2013. Our home was one of those robbed. The resident Durham and surrounding town's State Police and other regional police agencies have acted brilliantly in this case. This case has had and continues to have numerous moving parts and I ask you not only to bear with but to salute the work done here to date. I doubt we will ever recover a single item stolen and neither our home insurance nor tax filings will compensate. I've been asked to file with the Court what restitution we seek. These well dangerous people have I reckon zilch in reserve and could never recompense by prison labor their many victims. While I will give them a figure, the real restitution is learning all of them will be going away for the absolute longest possible time and they will, for many years and hopefully beyond that no longer pose a threat to you and to others.

Obviously Sarah was involved in a criminal activity so why is she not under arrest?
Brigid April 29, 2013 at 08:38 pm
Durhamite, the lock em up for life mentality is one of many things wrong with this country.Read More Incarceration should be about rehabilitation when possible, not societal revenge.
Brigid April 29, 2013 at 08:36 pm
Thank you Rob. I've felt this way for years. We have a huge incarceration problem in this country.Read More Young drug addicts go in and come out hardened criminals. Marijuana, which is no more dangerous that ancohol, should be legalized and taxed. Tax money should go to drug education. It is this approach that worked for cigarettes. They remain perfectly legal but due to education the number of smokers is way down.
