I will miss his hugs, his unconditional smiles, his kindness, and his unique ability to uplift the whole town just by his presence. I always appreciated his enthusiastic support for so many community events -- be it high school plays, concerts, talent shows, track meets, Durham fair events, etc., Charlie was always there to cheer us on. My deepest condolences and warmest thoughts and prayers. He will be greatly missed.
