Transfer Station

The Durham-Middlefield transfer station and recycling center accepts a wide range of garbage and recyclables, from car batteries to mattresses to old televisions. A resident sticker is required for a $10 fee and must be renewed yearly in July. Additional fees are charged for larger items. Hazardous materials are not accepted. The transfer station is operated under the direction of the Durham-Middlefield Interlocal Agreement Advisory Board.
