Middlefield Fire Dept. (Volunteer)

<p>An all-volunteer staff of around 50 firefighters make up Middlefield's Fire Department. Firefighters most frequently respond to medical emergencies but are also fully equipped to handle house fires, car accidents, brush fires, water rescues, haz-mat incidents and downed power lines. The Fire department has a full fleet of fire engines, rescue trucks, tankers, utility vehicles and a boat. The Department also provides a training and development program for youth interested in firefighting.</p> <p> </p>
