Scouts to Hold Food Drive This Weekend, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny in April

Troop 270 of Durham invites you to participate in two upcoming events.

Troop 270 of Durham will take part in the Mattabesett Trail District Wide Food Drive this Saturday, March 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Stop by the New Haven Racoon Club (853 New Haven Rd, Durham) to drop off your non-perishable food donations. All donations will help benefit our local food pantries.  Thank you for your support!

-------

On Saturday, April 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Troop 270 will be hosting a breakfast with the Easter Bunny. The Troop will be serving eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, juice, coffee, and homefries. The cost will be $6 per person or $20 for a family of four or more. The money will be used to reduce the cost of our Troop equipment which includes patrol boxes, cookware, stoves and lanterns. This will also reduce the cost of trips such as the Boston Freedom Trail, Fort Ticonderoga, Whitewater rafting, Presidential Mountain hike in New Hampshire and summer camp at Camp Yawgoog in Rhode Island.

Stop by and have breakfast and your picture taken with the Easter Bunny!
