Teaching Athletes and Dancers How to Fuel Their Bodies
Come join us for an afternoon to learn about what foods to eat to help you perform at your best and feel good while doing it!
Come learn about:
• the role that carbohydrates, fats & proteins play in the body
• the effects of sugar and post-exercise stress on the body
• effectively hydrating for practices/rehearsals and games and performances
• the best foods to eat before practice begins, during practice and after practice
• healthy meal and snack suggestions
All participants will receive handouts containing suggestions for healthy food choices and guidelines for how to fuel the body for optimal performance.
