On March 17, we’re hosting our third annual Spring Plunge and Cannonball Competition to raise funds for the kids at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford.

Registration begins at 11 a.m. and activities begin at noon with a Pee-Wee Plunge for kids 10 and under. The beach plunge takes place at 12:30 p.m. and the Cannonball Competition is at 1 p.m. You can register online now (below) and start collecting pledges.

The person who raises the most money during this charity event will win a one hour spot as a DJ on WCCC The Rock! There will also be prizes for the Best Team and Individual Costume, and Best Cannonball.

Admission is $25 for plungers and just $9 (at the gate on the day of the event) for those who’d rather watch people freeze their polar tooshies off. You can purchase spectator passes at the gate the day of the event. Jump or plunge as an individual or a team.

Our number one fans, Rocky from the Rock Cats and Pucky the Whale from the Connecticut Whale will be huddled among our other celebrity judges to award prizes for teams and individuals that raise the most money. Rocky will even be handing out tickets during the event and winners will receive free Rock Cats game tickets!
