Middlefield's Boyle to Play Football at Boston College

Standout Xavier High School quarterback Tim Boyle committed to the Div. I college on Wednesday.

 

Tim Boyle of Middlefield committed to Boston College today, deciding to play football for the Eagles starting in the fall of 2013, according to several reports.

Boyle, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound junior at Xavier High School in Middletown has been a member of the school's back-to-back state championship teams. Last year he threw for more than 800 yards and 15 touchdowns in six games.

Boyle has been recruited heavily by Div. I schools, and received offers from UConn, Florida, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, UMass and Houston.
